Tika Newman is the author of The Eyes of Innocence series. Currently, The Eyes of Innocence, Forever in Her Dreams, and Window to Her Soul, are released.The popular series is a unique story about a teen-aged girl as she grows up with psychic powers and the ability to heal. The story takes many twists and turns as her secret heritage is revealed. It's a heartwarming story and a wonderful read for teens and adults. She is also writing what she calls the never ending cookbook (because she has been working on it for years), as well as an historical novel set in the late 1880s called For the Love of Anne, which has a targeted release date of 2010.
Tika is married, living in upstate New York during winter and on a small lake in Pennsylvania the rest of the year. She and her husband share four children and six terrific grandchildren. They have two Keeshonds named Tyler and Joey. Tika retired from a twenty-two year career as a Real Estate Broker to write full time.
"For the Love of Anne" is set in the late 1880’s, this wonderful story shows the hardships that a young brother and sister face after their father abandons the family and they lose their mother. Anne refuses to be separated from Billy—no matter what the judge says!
They escape to historic Chicago under the cover of darkness. Their intent was to find their father, hoping he would take them in. Unfortunately, things do not go as planned. Chaotic adventures become commonplace to Anne and Billy as they try to survive on their own. Anne’s creativity and good business sense set them off on many adventures as they make their way alone. Anne witnessed first hand, what love did to her mother and vowed to never let a man do that to her.
If the heart wants love, the head cannot stop it. Anne can run, but can she hide?

Robert Lange grew up on a farm outside of Charlottesville, Virginia and currently resides in the mountains of North Carolina. Forced to leave the corporate world in 2003 after being diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Robert turned his creative energy to writing. Although taking over four years, Robert was able to produce his first work as his physical and cognitive energy allowed. Robert graduated from Virginia Tech,and has two children.
